Pawprints Veterinary Software is in active beta, already in daily use and improving fast. Spot a rough edge? Tell us and we'll jump on it.
Web-based, and it works offline in the field. Runs in any browser on iPhone, Android, Mac & PC, nothing to install. Load your day on signal, then keep working through a no-coverage home visit.
"I built this because I do this work. I run an in-home euthanasia practice, and I wanted software that understood the visit and helped me get through the day."
Created by a practicing in-home euthanasia veterinarian, for small practices that do this work every day.Why vets choose Pawprints
Your whole day, in your pocket.
Built for the way you actually work — out of your car, in people's homes, one tender visit after another. Here's what that feels like.
From first call to final goodbye
Every visit, gently carried through.
One guided flow follows each appointment from the first call all the way home, so nothing slips, and more of your attention stays on the family.
Scheduled
The visit is booked and on your calendar.
Confirmed
Confirmed with the family and on the day's route.
In progress
Consent, the visit, and the drug log, all on your phone.
Completed
The appointment closes out cleanly.
Aftercare
Remains and follow-up, tracked to the door.
Delivered
The family is cared for, start to finish.
Everything your practice needs
One place, from first inquiry to aftercare.
New inquiries, medical records, the visit, billing, and aftercare, all in one place, without re-typing anything or switching tools. A teaser of the toolkit; the full depth lives inside.
Inside the app
Built around the visit, end to end.
Every tier ships with the full platform. The four things a mobile practice actually has to do, handled in one place.
Run the visit
Intake, scheduling, consent, and a guided daily flow, built for the home visit.
Stay inspection-ready
A DEA-grade controlled-substance log with witnessed sign-off and one-click exports.
Aftercare & billing
Remains tracking, invoicing, payments, and hospice follow-ups, all in one place.
Run the practice
Patient & medical records, staff & credentials, client emails, and a to-do inbox that catches what slips.
Works with the tools you already use
Connects to the rest of your practice.
Pawprints plugs into the tools you already run on, so payments, intake, and your books stay in sync without double entry.
Stripe
Take cards, send secure payment links, and run an in-person card reader. Payouts land straight in your bank.
Jotform
Connect your existing intake form and new requests flow straight onto your schedule, no re-typing.
QuickBooks Online
Sync invoices and payments to your books in a click, so reconciliation and taxes stay clean.
Is my data safe?
Built like the inspection is tomorrow.
A drug log is only as good as the day someone tries to prove it wrong. We engineer for the worst day, not the best one.
Common questions
The things vets ask first.
What happens if I lose signal during a visit?
Pawprints keeps working with no signal. Open the app while you have a connection (wifi or cell) before you head out, and it saves your day onto your device. In a no-coverage area you can still pull up the visit, write your notes, record a standard medication, sign a consent form in person, mark the visit complete, and log a cash or check payment, and all of it syncs automatically when you're back online. A few things still need a connection, and the app tells you when: card payments, emailing a consent for the client to sign later, witnessed or multi-bottle drug entries, and creating a brand-new client on the spot.
What devices does it work on?
Any of them. Pawprints is web-based: it runs in any modern browser, so it works on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, and PC with nothing to download or install. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience on the go.
Is the drug log actually DEA-compliant?
The log is append-only: entries are time-stamped and can't be edited or deleted after the fact, and you can export an inspector-ready record for any date range in seconds. Compliance ultimately remains the practice's responsibility, but the recordkeeping is built for it.
How is my tier decided?
By the number of veterinarians who practice under your account. It's not per seat: coordinators, technicians, and admins don't count toward the tier or add to the price. [The exact doctor counts per tier are being finalized before launch.]
Is there a contract or a free trial?
No contract: every tier is month-to-month, cancel anytime. Your first 30 days are free: we take a card at signup but don't charge it until you choose to subscribe, and you keep all 30 free days even if you subscribe right away. If you don't subscribe by day 30, access pauses until you do.
Do I have to switch off my current tools?
You can run the whole practice here, or keep what works. Intake, payments, and exports are all built to fit what you already do, and nothing is locked in.
